| Solitary Sandpiper I was seated at a bench and could hear this one calling very close by, but couldn't figure out where it was. Then I heard it calling and further away. I finally realized that it had been about 5 feet in front of me on a little log right against the shoreline but hidden by a small embankment. I got these photos at about 30 feet. |
