Robin Juvenile A seemingly happy and well adjusted youngster. Always singing merrily when at the feeder. Very alert and active. Was having a great deal of difficulty landing on the jelly feeder. After a few days of a quick gulp of jelly then falling off the feeder it was roosting nearby when an Oriole climbed up the shepherds hook pole and hopped onto the jelly feeder. A few minutes later the Robin did the exact same thing. I was pretty amazed to see what appeared to be a learning experience for the Robin. |
