Spent a day at Whitewater Lake, sadly the lake continues to rise flooding a lot of the mud flats, marshes and some of the roads.

Black Terns

A flock of Black Terns at one of the ponds. Pictures are not the best as they were quite distant, 100 feet or more. The Terns were diving and skimming the water, took lots of photos but many were poorer than these photos.

Tried to get some photos of the 3 different breeds of Swallows that we see regularly on our local outings.
Managed to photos of Banks Swallows for the first time and photos of Tree Swallows. The Northern Rough Wing Swallows did not put in an appearance and are much more difficult to see as their nesting location is not visible from our side of the river.
This was the first time I've seen Bank Swallows roosting on the fence. Trying to get photos of them in flight is more difficult as they are usually further out in the field.

Coopers Hawk was back trying to catch a bird at our feeders. It stayed for several minutes and provided us with the opportunity to get 41 photos.
