My friend, Dave Carnochan, hiked the North Kaibab Trail and the Bright Angel Trail, about 28 miles round trip, in the Grand Canyon in October.
He has shared a number of the photos he took and granted me permission to display them on the blog.
He even spotted a California Condor.
The hike took 6 days, the temps ranged from 27F (-2.7C) to 65F (18.3C) overnight and ranged from 65F (18.3C) to 90F (32C) during the day.

| Difficult to judge the height of this monstrosity by the photo, but, I would estimate it being several hundred feet in height. |
