A flock of Northern Shovelers rested over at the pond we frequent for about a week. They put on quite a show as they flew to and from the lagoons and around the field. We took numerous photos of their displays. Here are some of the better ones.
The closest they ever came to us was about 40 feet (12 M). Most of the photos were at 100 feet (30 M) or further.
