Fort Whyte Alive and Yard - 5 March 2017

A beautiful day so I got a few photos at our feeder. Then headed to Fort Whyte where I was surprised to find around 100 Cackling and Canada Geese present. This is quite early for them to arrive. Heavy snow expected over the next few days so they are in for a rude surprise. Being a Sunday and Fort Whyte having held a trail bike race made the Deer skittish. Not many other birds present and none seemed to be in the mood to have their photos taken. Really enjoyed the outing none the less.
