Birds and Critters - 16-22 April 2016

Presented are some of the birds and animals we saw during the past week. Saw quite a few more birds and animals but wasn't able to get them on camera.

Have seen them a few times in the past couple of years. This is the first decent photo I've been able to get. I made kissing noises which actually got it to stop and watch me for a few minutes. I was a little surprised that it worked.

As the Falcon flew in the ducks on the bank all entered the water and grouped near the Falcon. The Falcon eventually left without incident.

Ruby Crowned Kinglet at about 40 feet (13 meters) They have been very active and uncooperative. Most closer photos consist of feet and tail feathers exiting the frame
